Description
The genetics for our Blueberry #1 project are derived from Blue Microverse “legacies” or regulars bred by Night Owl Seeds. We obtained them at F3 and have worked this particular batch a further 3 generations at this point.
Each generation we picked a specific male phenotype that looked and acted very similar. While they took slightly longer than some phenotypes, they were standouts with phenomenal vigor and towering height. They all had a sweeter nose and slight color throughout the flowers – generally looking slightly purple/red. The terpene profile is similar to the mother we choose as the winner: slightly hazy/spice-y, but with a strong blueberry sweetness in the background. Although we picked phenos that took longer, a relatively quick finish time makes this a great Indica leaning strain to breed with.
The chosen Mother’s from each generation were similar to the male – a little bigger and lankier than the others, but still plenty of indica-leaning traits to her. A sweet blueberry nose with some haze and spice mixed in.
We won’t be doing a regular run on these again for a little while as we focus on some feminized runs, so now is a good time to scoop some if you’re looking for some solid auto-regulars that are on the path to being an IBL!
